Another bump in the half marathon road.
I got new shoes a couple of weeks ago and ran with them for the first time on Sunday for 6 km without any problems. I went out again on Monday for a longer run and came home with blisters on the insides of my feet. I returned them yesterday to the Running Room store and they were good enough to take them back. Once the blisters heal I’ll go back in to pick out another pair.
I hope this is just a minor inconvenience. Already I feel like I’m falling behind on the training schedule.
